I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sogni D'Oro for a ski weekend, and it turned out to be a worthwhile experience, particularly for those weighing luxury against value. The hotel is ideally located just a two-minute drive from the Monte Lussari cable car, with other ski resorts like Sella Nevea and Nassfeld within a half-hour. Tarvisio's charming centre is just five minutes away, adding convenience to the stay. Our room was spacious, boasting a modern bathroom with an excellent shower - amenities that you'd expect in a luxury hotel. The large flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were appreciated after long days on the slopes. The breakfast provided was a standout, fueling us for outdoor adventures like skiing and cycling. While the hotel's positioning may not be in the town centre, it compensates with ample free parking and two pleasant nearby restaurants. Sogni D'Oro offers a comfortable stay with an attractive balance of luxury and affordability. I can see myself returning for more outdoor activities beyond winter sports. It's a smart pick for any traveler keen on nature and ease.
